MY COASTAL LUXE MOOD BOARD

In preparation for my new website, I've created a mood board to share today. Its all about creating Calm through Home Decor! 

The Coastal Luxe theme combines elements of coastal or beachy aesthetics with a touch of luxury and sophistication and incorporates the 'Calm' beautifully. Look at how everything together creates a space that feels both relaxed and upscale. Check the components on my mood board below and I'll break them all down. 

Colour Palette - Coastal Luxe often features a soft and calming colour palette inspired by the beach. Think shades of soft sandy beiges, whites and touches of green and light blues. These colours evoke a serene and tranquil atmosphere. 

Materials and Textures - See the blend of natural and luxurious materials. Weathered wood, brushed metals, plush textiles and reflective surfaces like metals, glass and mirrors. Textures create depth and visual interest in a space. 

Furniture and Furnishings - Coastal Luxe furniture needs to be comfortable and elegant. Light coloured upholstery, tan coloured leathers, wicker, rattan and metals can all be used together. Soft furnishings  cushions and throws enhance the comfort factor, look at the fabrics here with subtle patterns and organic colours. 

Accessories - play a crucial role in conveying the theme. Driftwood, clay components and sculptural decor pieces can elevate the space, artwork should be textural and abstract to complete this style. Luxurious accents like crystal vases elevate it even further. 

Lighting - The choice of light can drastically impact the mood of the room, a soft warm light can enhance the Coastal Luxe to a new height. Check out that gorgeous chandelier!
