This week I've been helping a customer with her all white kitchen. We've been playing around with shades of white that work well for her 2 pac cabinetry considering her current wall colour that we worked on together a couple of years ago. We discussed the profile of her cabinet doors, the colour of tap ware, door knobs, appliances, benchtops and other features to consider to give her the look she's after. Here's what we came up with.
The colour of my customers walls are Dulux Snowy Mountains Half, a sensational tone that can be used with both warmer and cooler colours, perfect considering the coastal/country vibe going on there. Check out the beautiful undertones of oatmeal and a hint of green that balances it for use with linens, warm timber colours, cooler concrete tones and grey accessories.
Considering the colours of the walls in this Mt Eliza house, we decided to use Snowy Mountains Quarter for the 2 pac cabinet doors. It's a very light, crisp neutral white, and uses the same tints as Snowy Mountains Half, and is a perfect way to highlight her new kitchen.

The splashback is a new porcelain from Caesarstone called 503 Circa. It' perfect to use on splash-backs as it has a thin profile of 20mm and can be used behind hotplates due to the high heat tolerance of porcelain. Note: always look at real samples to see the true colours and beauty running through your selections.
For this kitchen we were after texture, movement and mild differences in the whites to avoid a sterile boring kitchen which can happen when using all white.

Appliances and tap-ware were then selected, we chose combinations of gunmetal grey, brushed chrome and black.
