THE BRIDGE HOTEL MORDIALLOC

For a couple of years now I've been working with the new owners of the iconic Bridge Hotel in Mordialloc.

The Bridge Hotel was a well loved but tired old building in need of updating when the new owners took it over late 2020, early 2021, the renovations began soon after. They were after a nautical, luxury cruise liner  vibe for the building's exterior and the colours suggested certainly demonstrate that. It now stands out as a beauty, sitting proudly on the waterfront. Outdoor furniture and new umbrellas have also been replaced  creating a brilliant outdoor dining experience right on the river inlet. You should go check it out!

Work is still progressing on the interior, and I'll post another blog on it when we've finished it.

The old metal roof was repainted using Colorbond Shale Grey, but we kept the wonderful terracotta tiles on the Nepean Hwy side as they worked in better with the traditional style of the building. We painted all the rendered walls in Dulux White on White, a stunning bright white, and all the window frames, outdoor alfresco areas and support posts in Dulux Blue Rhapsody, an inky, moody blue. Simple and stylish indeed.

Check out the differences below!
