'IVANHOE GEM' REPAINT FOR SALE
A month or so ago I visited a home in Ivanhoe. The owners were preparing it ready for sale and they wanted to do as little as they needed to make it look amazing and market ready. Of course one the easiest and cheapest ways to make a big change is to change the paint colours. Here are the colours we selected on the exterior and also the colours we selected on the interior including one which transformed the kitchen. Be sure you don't miss the before and after shots.
As the render on the exterior of the house was in very good condition and not a bad colour, we decided to keep it along with the colour of the window frames. The closest match to the render colour was Dulux Hog Bristle Quarter and window trims were Dulux Snowy Mountains Quarter. The painter was able to touch up any areas needing it and the outcome was seamless.
The weatherboards at the bottom of the home were originally a very outdated classic cream, which needed to go. The new colour we selected was Dulux Stone Monument, which worked a treat with the design of the home and terracotta roof perfectly. For a touch of class and in keeping with the heritage aspect of the facade, we added Dulux Teahouse on the bay window frames and front door.
Throughout the interior we painted Dulux Natural White on ceilings, walls and trims, it's a beautiful warm white that never fails to impress. The kitchen was tired but had some amazing features to it, so a coat of paint has also transformed it. We used Dulux Beige Royal. I'm sure you can say that for about $100 worth of paint, it has added thousands to the value of the home.
The home is currently up for sale and is a real stunner thanks to all the hard work of Corrie's team at ZaTyra DeSign! Insta - Zatyra_design.
