JOY'S FOLLY - UNIQUE MID CENTURY HOLIDAY APARTMENTS

Anyone up for a holiday in a perfect beachside setting, which actually encourages families to be together AND enjoy the company of other guests?

A couple of weeks back I was privileged to visit the owner of what will soon be named 'Joy's Folly' at 1971 Point Nepean Road, Tootgarook, right across the road from the beach. The owners's parents ran this holiday park in the 60's & 70's, and has many fond memories of the families that came each year to spend holidays there. The idea is to recreate a mid century blast from the past, complete with old style colour trends, furniture, cooking appliances, even radios, not to forget the friendly, neighbourly fun moments families would have in the large gardens. The owner has even sourced some amazing, fully revamped vintage caravans if families would prefer this option.

I came in to help with the exterior and interior colour selections and I can't wait to see the transformation of this little holiday park. It's going to be fun and bright, plus the gelato inspired colour scheme will make it a unique place to relax. I can already taste the difference!

This is one of the cottages revamped and ready for painting. All have at least a couple of bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and living area complete with mod cons, but most of the living is to be outside with other guests of the park.

This is the original front unit, soon to be resplendent in all its glory on Point Nepean Road with the soft yet bright, pastel colour scheme. Cant wait to see it complete.

Anytime you need help with a painting project, interior/exterior renovation or new build I'm just a call away.
