LIVING ROOM BLISS: AN ARTHURS SEAT AIRBNB

During the winter months we all feel like hibernating in a beautifully warm, relaxing environment. This week I've been co-ordinating furniture design for an airbnb in Arthurs Seat. I've given it a real Scandi Shack feel, using very natural elements like warm walnut timbers, boucle fabric on accent chairs and the most amazing floating concrete coffee table. I want to share images of what the place looks like now, and of course I'll share how it comes up when complete. 

Firstly, check out this view which greets as soon as you walk through the front door. In its original style the airbnb is still amazing, but using natural Blackbutt flooring and painting it in a warmer colour like Dulux Feather Soft will cocoon this amazing living room. 

Boucle fabric is so soft, it's like giving a teddy bear a warm hug. Here's the accent chair I selected, it's on sale at Freedom at the moment. 

We needed a large solid coffee table to complete the room, again, what they have here is pretty good, but  I wanted it to look solid, almost like it was floating.

The final piece of furniture I want to share with you today is the TV unit, love the style its going to create in the living room. The online store, 'Living Styles' is complete with amazing pieces to add warmth and style to a room.
