COMPLETE HOME RENOVATION - MT ELIZA

One of the most exciting things I love doing is helping family members renovate their homes. My sister in law was renovating her home last year and of course I stepped in to help. Here are the colours we selected, and some final images of it.

We started with a very old 1980's home and finished up with this gorgeous coastal retreat, it has a gentle nod toward the Hamptons style too. I must say, the stone cladding at the bottom of the facade makes it look amazing. We used Mt Hotham Granite sourced from Ultimate Tiles in Mornington. The weatherboards were painted in Dulux Powered Rock, and Dulux Mt Aspiring was painted on all trims inc. the fence and window frames. Look at the detail around the front windows, and the feature coach lights either side of the garage doors.

Would you ever think this is what we started with on the front facade?

The original home had v-groove cladding on some of the walls, so we continued this through the new grand entrance and living room areas. I especially love how the front entrance was so large we could add this amazing centre piece, and everything aligned with the chandelier to create a perfect first impression. The table and rug came from Pottery Barn, the wall colour is White Exchange Quarter and all trims and V-groove panelling are Lexicon Quarter.

The new kitchen is Caesarstone Empira White, with Polytec Polar White cabinetry and white subway tiles for splashback. I especially love the glass panelled door leading into the pantry.

Love the way it's come up looking so fresh and clean, a beautiful home now, and so easy to live in.
